The choice of product, the dose rate, the stage at which the product is incorporated and the length of time it remains in contact with the wine are defined according to the objectives the winemaker is seeking to achieve.

Origin
French cooperage grade oak, aged in the seasoning yard at Tonnellerie Radoux up to 24 months and then thermally dried without toasting using a special process developed by Pronektar.

Characteristics

Oak:               Quercus petraea and Quercus robur

Chip size:      2 mm < 80% of particles < 7 mm

Toasting:        Fresh with thermal disinfection

Dose rate:      Red Wines 1 to 3 g/ Litre of wine - spread NEKTAR [Fresh] granulates directly in the hopper or into ferment tanks.
                        White Wines  0.5 to 1 g/ Litre of wine - add after clarification at the start of primary fermentation.
